Sangh Shakha refers to the daily meetings of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh and Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh. This includes sports, Geets, Subhashit, Amrutvachan, Yogasanas and Prayer.
The shakha is the backbone of the RSS and HSS. It is a daily gathering of swayamsevaks, which is held in an open ground for an hour either in the morning or in the evening.
In shakha, swayamsevaks perform exercises, play games, sing patriotic or devotional songs, have discussions,learn about dharma, etc.
The shakha makes swayamsevaks healthy and fit, both physically and mentally, teaches them about their culture and instills in them moral values. It also builds in them organisational skills and the ability to work as a team.It also teaches them to be social and learns then to do seva
